How trip day goes
The only part you need to plan is the logistics.
- 01
Before booking
Say who's aboard
Ages, experience, and what a great day looks like to your crew. Ask Travis which trip actually fits, not which one sounds biggest.
- 02
The day before
Watch your phone
Weather calls come the day before. Pack for the marine forecast, not the parking-lot temperature.
- 03
At the marina
Arrive a little early
Get dock and parking directions when you book. Summer traffic out here is real, so build in a cushion.
- 04
On the water
Fish the day you get
You leave from Shagwong Marina, run to whatever the conditions allow, and come back to your catch being cleaned and filleted at the dock.

Your starting point
Why Hampton Bays is the right dock.
From Shagwong Marina it's an easy run to Shinnecock Bay, the inlet and the ocean beaches, so more of your trip is spent fishing and less of it getting there.
